At last, the final rope snapped.
The lion stepped free.
He stood up and looked down at the tiny mouse with respect.
“My friend,” the lion said gently, “I once thought you were too small to help me. Today you proved me wrong.”
The mouse smiled.

From that day, the lion never judged anyone by size again.
