Have you seen the greenery early in the morning?
The sunlight slowly penetrating the trees through the beautiful leaves,
The shades of that uncanny reflection,
The prettiness and aroma of a flower in the midst of the jungle,
While you walk?

Have you felt the strength of a river while rafting through it?
Have you seen the sun setting over the coconut trees?
Felt the variety of textures in the mud, water, the gushing waves of the seas?
And the celebration of raw happiness on the beaches-
Where everyone assimilates as one only for love?

Have you seen the Konkani ladies walking by,
With nicely worn sari and flower adorning their hair?
And the red cheek of your wife while showing the beautiful souvenir?
The craziness of your kid, and your own childishness,
While you dance,
While you laugh,
And while you are on the highways?

Have you felt the humbleness of people in small cities?
The calmness in their lives,
The simplicity while they talk and the affection in their eyes–
Have you seen it all?

Have you seen the days full of meanings and mundane-
Etched in your memory, staying with you forever?
