How far is far away my friends-

When I leave you all alone, 

When I leave for a faraway place,

When school bus wouldn’t stop for me,

When you don’t need to save a seat,

When school days don’t have me on your roaster,

When I couldn’t surprise you all with those unique dishes,

School days wouldn’t have some of those fun anymore-

All those loving memories, all those laughter & shouting, 

All those chit chat and hugs, 

All fest and fun, all those tears & joys-

Will all those be over?

How far is far away my friends-

But do remember those days my friends,

Do cherish those again –

Even though not in meeting eyes 

Even though not in hug & touch 

I do care, I always will,

I dare and I dare-

To not let this distance take our friendship away. 

Because, I still wonder,

“How far is far away, my friends?”
