👑 Birth of Lord Rama

This made him deeply unhappy.

Following the advice of sages, the king performed a sacred ritual, hoping for a child. Soon, his prayers were answered. The palace was filled with joy as four sons were born — Rama, Bharata, Lakshmana, and Shatrughna.

🌳 Exile to the Forest

Queen Kaikeyi, influenced by fear and insecurity, reminded the king of a promise he had made long ago. She asked for two things — that her son Bharata be crowned king, and that Rama be sent into exile for 14 years.

When Rama heard this, he did something extraordinary. He did not argue. He did not feel angry. He simply accepted his father’s decision with respect.

For him, keeping his father’s promise was more important than becoming king.

Sita refused to stay behind. Lakshmana, his loyal brother, also chose to go with him.

🌿 Life in the Forest

Life in the forest was not easy. There were no comforts, no luxuries — only nature and uncertainty.

Disguised as a sage, Ravana approached Sita and kidnapped her, taking her away to Lanka.

When Rama returned and realized what had happened, the pain was deep. But he did not lose himself in sorrow.

During his search, Rama met Hanuman — a devotee whose loyalty and strength were unmatched.
